Welcome to my Music Page. This page contains original songs created by yours truly, Ricky Duval. Among the offerings are a song I wrote for my wife, some music for Star Force (a sci-fi series I've created), background music for some magic illusions I perform, and several others. All original. All by me. (Scary thought, ain't it?) I have also included some "covers" from other artists, as well as some "classical" music for your listening enjoyment.
Note: These songs still need a little bit of work.
And (for the wav's, at least), quality has been sacrificed to cut down on file size.
Also, I am no longer posting wav's and mp3's -- all songs are midis unless otherwise noted.
If you would like a collection of CD-quality versions of these songs, or an mp3 of a specific song, please let me know.
Thank you.
Music From/Inspired By Star Force
For those of you who haven't been to my Star Force page, it's a science fiction series
I've created (complete with stories, tech. specs. on the ships and other
technology, personnel profiles, etc.) The music that goes with the stories
includes everything from the main theme of the series to some little
ditties that seemed to go along with some of the characters or stories.
This (with a few changes) was my original "Music Page" on this site,
and it still links to the mp3's I had posted previously.
But eventually most everything will be in midi format.
Other Original Works
This includes a song I wrote for my wife, some piano pieces, some "rock" pieces,
and some other music that came from the twisted corners of my mind.
Everything but Star Force, "Classical", and "covers".
Covers
My midi renditions of songs by other artists. You will note that many
of them are from Rich Mullins. This is no coincidence. Not only is he
probably my favorite Christian singer of all time, but a friend of mine
has a home page dedicated to Rich,
and I originally made the Rich midis for that page. But there are some
other covers on this page as well.
Classical Music
This is similar to the "covers" category above. But while the covers include
more popular tunes and things of that sort, this includes more "classical music".
Actually, it includes Classical, Baroque, Romantic, and Ragtime pieces, but
it's what people commonly refer to as "Classical Music" when they need a way
to group all of these categories together.
If you would like, you can Request a CD or mp3 of some of my original works or the "Classics". (Sorry, I don't do mp3's of covers.)

Music sites belonging to my friends:
My Brother's Midi Site
His original music -- everything from Piano Pieces to Pop to Heavy Metal.
I'll go ahead and warn you, in case you're easily offended --
he occasionally uses bad language on his site and in his lyrics. But don't let
that stop you from listening to his music -- it's really great.
M.T. Benoit Music
My friend Michael's music site -- mainly orchestra / film score music. Some really good stuff.
Danny Parten's Solo Works (Swivle)
and Band (Point 9)
Danny's a friend and former co-worker. Rock seems to be his favorite style, but there are some others.
